Rolling Down Roads

Passing towns where people are in a pause old men drinking, cursing a war that will never settle. Good catholic women gossiping on what the neighbours have done

& where they have been. Young girls waiting with their beautiful transparent faces

for the next nothing to happen.

Rolling down roads where it all looks the same. Same houses torn down by bombs

being built up again. Same people riding their bicycles

going nowhere. Everyday is a ring. Going in circles and back again.
